IKEA’s Play Report was published last year. It is a very well rounded report. It has been also a great project to be involved in and a honour to be quoted!
I’ve been working as a Play Futurist/ Designer/ Researcher last 20years and in every question I discover a new layer of PLAY. It is such and ambiguous concept, hard to define. And for every context there is a different explanation of importance of Play. Basically Play brings out the essence of things, its interaction is genuine and the environments we create will bring out different Playfulness within us.
